Plainsman Tire Co
...1981 in Dallas Texas, two employees of Fulco Tire Distributors out of Baytown Texas, Gaylord Carlton and Pat Malone, join with a few others to buy the Dallas location. A couple of years later it was just Gaylord and Pat as they bought the others out. These two grew the company spreading to Tyler Texas, Waco Texas and Ft Worth Texas.
For 39 years, Plainsman has grown and been successful by providing that same Texas style personal touch to great customer service and competitive pricing that was implemented by Gaylord and Pat back in '81. Their efforts and standards stay true to this day.
Gaylord passed in 2013 but his legacy lives on.
